Rhyan Sprague plays 10-year-old musical prodigy Rollins McCoy. She throws herself into her love for angsty rock and roll after the sudden death of her father. It's the easiest way to cope when her long lost pop-music loving Aunt Ashley becomes legal guardian to Rollins and her brother Thurston. Rollins works hard to convince her sunny aunt that she should continue to run the family recording studio, and to find common ground with this perky stranger.
