Born on the planet Krypton but raised on Earth, Superman is perhaps the most revered of all American comic heroes. He lives on Earth disguised as a mild-mannered journalist, Clark Kent. However, when faced with danger, Clark becomes Superman, a hero with great strength and the ability to fly.
