Businesspeople from various backgrounds and parts of America compete for the prize. One contestant is eliminated each week, until the conclusion of the series. The last competitor standing works as the president of one of Donald Trump's companies for at least one year, earning them a salary of $250, 000.

The channel features episode highlights, including the infamous "You're Fired" scenes, contestant profiles, and behind-the-scenes footage.
