The Cut Up

The mysterious Cutter gives his humorous take of new and classic films and video games in the review webseries, The Cut Up.

The series was originally conceived in 2007 as a showcase for opinions on the latest horror films and the cult classics. However the series has gradually evolved to include reviews of other movies, including child-friendly Pixar flicks. Horror movies continue to be a focus though, particularly schlocky B-grade flicks popular in the 70s and 80s.

Along with his opinions of the movies he discusses, The Cutter also controversially pinpoints the best and worst scenes and quotations, and any noted continuity errors.

The most recent episode is displayed in a player window on The Cut Up main page. Controls along the base of the video player allow fans to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, share the videos with friends, and view them in full-screen mode. Alphabetically organized drop down windows at the top of the page allow fans to easily navigate to film reviews of interest in the archive, while links on the right side of the page direct fans to video game reviews.
