It may have screened in the 1960s, but the futuristic world of The Jetsons is high-tech even by today's standards. Likened to an ultramodern version of The Flintstones, The Jetsons follows the adventures of an ordinary family living in extraordinary circumstances.

Father George works at Spacely Space Sprockets while his wife Jane looks after their two children, Elroy and Judy. The robot housekeeper, Rosie, ensures the busy household runs smoothly.

While their Stone Age counterparts, The Flintstones, used machines powered by birds and dinosaurs, the gadgets used by The Jetsons are very advanced. Cars are replaced with flying saucers, and elaborate robotic contraptions make housework even simpler.
