The Nostalgia Critic

The Nostalgia Critic is a film review channel hosted by the snarky Doug Walker.

Rather than sound off about the latest Hollywood blockbusters, Walker prefers to open the film vault and review forgotten gems of the past. His reviews typically examine whether the original films have stood the test of time for modern audiences. Most films do not, which allows Walker to wittily snipe about them.

The film choices are seemingly random, although most hail from the 1980s and 1990s. Many movies are animated, and most are mainstream fare.

When not reviewing films Walker likes to present Top 11 lists, episodes which count down the top representatives of particular categories including sports montages, saddest moments, and movie villains.

The Nostalgia Critic videos are presented in a simple video player, with controls along its base. The controls to the left allow browsers to pause and play the clips, while those on the right allow them to adjust the volume, view the episodes in full screen mode, view more details about the episodes, share them with friends, and jump to the video host Blip.tv's main page.
