The Strand Venice CA

The Strand is a fictionalized drama series exploring the lives of residents of California’s Venice Beach.

The series captures all the color of California's famous coastal district, with a vibrant cast of characters including yuppies, aspiring actors, arrogant agents, bar tenders, and the homeless. The series is created by Daniel Myrick, the co-writer and director of the horror film The Blair Witch Project. Just as this movie did, The Strand aims for a realistic feel with minimal lighting and a documentary film style. It's only fitting that the program's catchphrase is "It's not reality television. It's just real."

Basic video controls, allowing browsers to pause and play the clips and adjust their volume, appear when hovering over the player window. Each episode of The Strand plays in the window in chronological order. The channel also features a selection of behind-the-scenes videos.
