TimesCast

TimesCast is a daily video series which takes viewers behind-the-scenes of The New York Times.

The series focuses on the day's breaking news stories and the way editorial staffers develop them. TimesCast intersperses footage from the editors' Page One Meeting with the opinions of individual reporters. These journalists discuss the stories on their current agenda, and their opinions about them.

The video player contains basic controls which allow browsers to pause and play the clips, adjust their volume, and view them in full-screen mode.

An episode synopsis is printed underneath the player, alongside links for sharing the episodes via e-mail or Twitter and recommending them to friends.

Thumbnail images to the right of the player allow fans to easily navigate to other episodes.

New episodes of TimesCast are added to the channel each weekday.
