TommyTV
TommyTV is a joint initiative between fashion house Tommy Hilfiger and record label Sony BMG.
The site features performances, known as "sessions," recorded exclusively for TommyTV in locations around Europe. These sessions feature established artists like Wyclef Jean, and new talent. Emerging artists can audition to appear on TommyTV by submitting their videos through YouTube. The most popular Hilfiger auditions will earn a place on the TommyTV site.
In addition, browsers can view classic concerts by musicians like Train, Jeff Buckley, and INXS. A menu at the right of the player allows music fans to skip to their favorite songs and rate them.
Browsers can view the concerts in full screen mode or a smaller viewing window. Controls at the base of each videos allow users to adjust the volume, rate the videos, and change the viewing mode.
Videos are free to view, but additional features are available to fans who register for a free TommyTV account. TommyTV members can access exclusive backstage footage and create a playlist with their favorite clips.
