Winning Hearts and Minds

Winning Hearts and Minds is a documentary channel, which follows American soldiers in Afghanistan. These soldiers of the US Army Civil Affairs Command work to bring order to the devastated country.

Winning Hearts and Minds documents the soldiers' efforts to restore power grids and server lines, establish hospitals and schools, and liaise with local government. The channel exposes the bonds that develop between the Americans and the Afghanis, a side of war that is rarely shown in the news.

The program offers a real insider's look as it is produced by American soldier and former cameraman Sgt Steven Kling.

Parental guidance is recommended due to bad language and sexual references in some conversations between the soldiers.
