Young American Bodies

Young American Bodies is a dramatic web series centering around the intersecting love lives of six young adults living in Chicago.

Young American Bodies is produced, written, and directed by independent filmmaker Joe Swanberg. He also stars as Ben, an awkward twenty something who has a crush on his neighbor Maggie. The series is co-produced and co-written by Swanberg's wife Kris Williams. She also plays Dia, a woman concerned about leaving the freedom of youth for a live-in relationship with Kelly. Rounding out the sextet are Noah and Casey, the on-again off-again couple on the precipice of commitment.

Like other Swanberg project, Young American Bodies is characterized by its emphasis on realistic dialogue and everyday characters over action and melodrama.

Viewers can easily pause and play the videos and adjust their volume using the player controls. Additional buttons also allow fans to e-mail their favorite videos with friends and get the link and embed code to display the clips in their own website.
